Managed IT and help desk
Your outsourced IT department. Devices, accounts, backups, and a person who answers.
Most small businesses do not have an IT problem. They have an ownership problem. Nobody's job is the laptops, the accounts, the backups, or the thing that broke at 8:40 this morning, so it lands on whoever is handy. Usually that is the owner or the most technical person on staff, and it is the most expensive help desk in the company.
We take ownership of the whole layer. You get a flat price per person and a real human to call.
What is included
- Device setup, management, patching, and encryption
- Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administration
- Employee onboarding and offboarding
- Cloud backup, monitored and tested
- Same-day help desk from a person, not a queue
- Vendor wrangling, so you are not on hold with someone else's support line
Devices, managed properly
Every laptop, desktop, and phone gets enrolled, encrypted, and kept current. That sounds administrative until the day one goes missing, at which point it is the difference between a lost device and a lost dataset. It also means a new hire's machine arrives ready instead of eating someone's afternoon.
Email and accounts
Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace are both fine. What matters is how they are set up. We handle tenant configuration, licensing that matches what you actually use, shared drives, permissions, and multi-factor authentication across the board.
Onboarding and offboarding
New person: accounts created, device provisioned, access granted, day one works. Departing person: access ends the same day, files are retained, licence is reclaimed. Both run from a checklist so nothing depends on remembering.
Backups you can actually restore
A backup nobody has tested is a hope, not a plan. We back up your cloud data and endpoints, monitor that jobs are completing, and verify restores. Microsoft and Google both keep your service running. Neither is responsible for recovering the folder someone deleted six weeks ago.
Help desk that answers
Response times are written into your plan, and you talk to someone who knows your setup. No ticket triage theatre, no being handed between three people.
Run like a service desk, not a favour
Small-business IT usually runs on memory and goodwill. Someone texts the person who knows computers, it gets fixed, and nothing is written down. That works until the business grows, or that person is away, or the same problem happens for the fourth time and nobody notices the pattern.
We run it properly instead, using the same service-management practices larger IT departments use, sized down so they help rather than get in the way:
- Everything is logged. Requests get recorded, prioritised, and closed. Nothing lives in an inbox or a text thread.
- Recurring problems get fixed at the root. If the same issue appears three times, that is a signal, not a coincidence.
- Changes are planned. Anything that could disrupt you gets a window, a heads-up, and a way back if it goes wrong.
- Your setup is documented. What you have, how it is configured, and why. You own that documentation, and you keep it if you ever leave.
That last point matters more than it sounds. Undocumented IT is how small businesses end up hostage to whoever set it up.
What this costs
Managed IT and help desk is included in every plan. A one-person business is a flat $199 a month; from two people it is $125 per user per month. Month to month, no long contract. See the full pricing breakdown.
