Why teams choose Brevity.Tech

Fast & human

Talk to a real person who actually answers. Response times we put in writing.

Flat & transparent

One price per person. Projects quoted up front. No surprise invoices, ever.

Automation built in

We don’t just keep your IT running. We help make your business run itself.

Services

Everything an IT department should do. Plus the part most of them skip.

Managed IT & Helpdesk

Everyday support, plus everything behind it: device setup, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, onboarding and offboarding, patching, backups. And a real person when something breaks.

Windows Server & Infrastructure

The server your business runs on, looked after properly. Active Directory, file servers, secure remote access, tested backups, and a straight answer on whether you still need a server or belong in the cloud.

Networking Essentials

Wi-Fi that just works. Mesh coverage, guest and segmented networks, and an end to the dead zones and drop-outs that kill your afternoon.

Managed Security Essentials

The security that actually matters for a small team: MFA, endpoint protection, encrypted backups, password managers, and getting you ready for cyber insurance. For deep audits, we bring in trusted specialists.

Our edge

Automation & AI

We find the repetitive work and automate it. Quotes, scheduling, invoicing, follow-ups, reporting. We also build small internal apps with Power Apps to replace the spreadsheets and paper forms nobody likes.

Data & Reporting

You already have the data. We turn it into Power BI dashboards you actually look at, so decisions stop being guesswork. Numbers pulled straight from your systems, refreshed on their own. When you outgrow a single dashboard, we build it on Microsoft Fabric.

The tools you already use, fully managed

  • Microsoft 365
  • Google Workspace
  • Windows & Apple
  • Slack & Zoom
  • QuickBooks
  • Line-of-business apps
Automation in action

The busywork, handled while you sleep.

We wire your tools together so the repetitive stuff runs itself. A few of the things we set up:

  • New invoice → reminder sent and your books updated, automatically.
  • New hire → laptop provisioned and the right accounts granted on day one.
  • Every Monday → your reports built and in your inbox before coffee.

Small things, every day. They add up to hours back every week.

Who we serve

Two kinds of teams. One IT partner.

A clinic manager and IT consultant reviewing a managed laptop in a small outpatient clinic.

Small businesses

Law, accounting, clinics, engineering and architecture, agencies, real estate, trades. You get reliable IT, security that keeps you insurable, and a bill you can predict.

A scaling startup teammate receiving a prepared laptop while the rest of the team keeps working.

Funded & scaling startups

SaaS, AI, cleantech, biotech, gaming. We handle device management, Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 security, and the IT work a founder shouldn't be stuck with. We move as fast as you do.

Contract Month to month, 30 days' notice.
One-time onboarding $750 to $1,500, depending on how much needs untangling. It pays for real work: documenting what you have, enrolling and securing every device, taking over your Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, and setting up backups and login security. It is not a signup fee. We waive it if you start on a 12-month term. Month to month is always available; the choice is yours.
What costs extra Anything outside this table, at $150/hr. Hardware, software licences, and internet at cost with no markup. Projects are quoted as fixed scope before we start.
If you leave We hand over your accounts, passwords, and documentation. No exit fee.

Add-ons

  • Onboarding / setup: $750–$1,500 one-time, or waived if you start on a 12-month term
  • Projects (network/Wi-Fi build, migration, insurance-readiness hardening): fixed-scope quote
  • Extra automation or AI build: $1,500–$3,000 fixed scope, on top of the automations your plan already includes. We maintain it as part of your plan, not a separate monthly fee.
  • Startup Launch Stack (Workspace/M365 + device management + security essentials + core automations): setup fee + per-seat
  • Out-of-scope / fractional IT: $150/hr

Flat pricing. No surprise invoices. Want to talk it through first? Get your free check.

Straight talk about what we do

What we are

  • Your outsourced IT department
  • Managers of the security that keeps you insurable: login security, device protection, backups, and password managers
  • Small-office networking, including Wi-Fi and separate guest networks
  • Builders of automation, internal apps, and reporting

What we're not (we partner instead)

  • Not a deep-security lab. Penetration tests, formal audits, and incident forensics go to a vetted specialist, and we coordinate it so you are not managing two vendors
  • Not enterprise network engineers. We handle multi-office, guest and segmented Wi-Fi. Data-centre-scale builds we refer out
  • Not a body shop selling hours. Hourly exists only for rare out-of-scope work. Everything normal is in your flat plan
Why Brevity.Tech

Why a small team gets treated differently here.

Most IT providers are built for companies of ten to a hundred people. That is a real business, and it shapes their minimum, their pricing, and how fast you get a reply. We built ours around smaller teams instead.

Are we too small for you?
Not at all. A one-person business has its own flat plan at $199 a month. From two people up, you pay per seat, and the bill moves the month you add or drop someone. Most providers will not take you below ten or twenty people.
What is this actually going to cost?
The whole thing is on this page: the per-user price, the hourly rate, the onboarding range, and what is excluded. Compare it against anyone before you talk to us.
Who will I actually be dealing with?
The same person who set your systems up. Not a rotating queue, and not a different technician each time.
Do you do more than keep the lights on?
Half of what we do is keeping IT running. The other half is removing work: dashboards on numbers you already have, small apps to replace the spreadsheet nobody likes, and automations in between. Ask any provider to show you one they have actually built.
What will you say no to?
Penetration tests, formal audits, and enterprise network builds go to specialists we trust. We will tell you that on the first call, not in the third month.
FAQ

Questions people ask before the call.

Do I need a long contract?

No. Month to month is the default, and you stay because it works, not because you're stuck. If you would rather commit to a year, we waive the onboarding fee in exchange. Your call.

What if I already have someone doing IT?

That's fine. We can back them up or take it all on. The free check tells us which makes sense for you.

How fast do you actually respond?

Your response times are written into your plan. And you'll always reach a real person, not a ticket queue.

Is switching providers a pain?

We handle the move. Devices, security, backups, and accounts get set up and migrated with as little disruption as possible.

Where does my data live?

We keep your data in Canada wherever we can, and we'll always tell you exactly where things sit.

What don't you do?

We're not a deep-security lab or an enterprise network shop. For penetration tests, SOC 2 audits, and big network builds, we bring in vetted specialists.
